At Dinks & Dingers, we keep things simple: good games, good food, good people. None of it works without a team behind the scenes making sure courts are prepped, food is hot, drinks are cold, and everything’s running smoothly.
Whether you're here for a quick match, a league night, or just grabbing dinner with friends, this team helps create the experience that keeps people coming back. They know the rules, the plays, and the vibe, and they’re here to make sure you enjoy every minute on and off the court.
Our Team
Andy Anderson
Dinks & Dingers Owner
Andy Anderson, and along with his wife of 24 years Becky, are the owners of Dinks & Dingers Social Club. They have two sons; Tommie who is 19 and attending Hope College; and Isaac who is 17 and a Junior at Grand Rapids Christian High School. Andy received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He spent 15 years as a sales manager in the Information & Technology space before retiring to be a stay-at-home dad. While being the primary parent to the Anderson’s two boys, he decided to go back to school on a part-time basis (while his boys were at school he was also at school) and received a Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary as well as a Masters of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University. While attending these schools he had part time jobs as an Associate Pastor at Thornapple Community Church in Cascade and was a school social worker at Grandville Public Schools and then later at Mona Shores Public Schools.
Andy was about to apply to be a social worker at Helen Devos Children’s Hospital when his wife found out she had cancer, which paused his career in social work. As he walked along side and supported his wife on her cancer journey, he wrote the business to create Dinks & Dingers. Fortunately, his wife Becky has been cancer free for over a year now and Dinks & Dingers is coming to fruition!

Jacob Stegman
Director of Court & Field Operations
Born and raised in Grand Rapids, Jacob attended Northview high school where he played tennis and baseball. He furthered his education at Cornerstone University, earning a B.S. in Exercise Science in 2022 while also playing on the tennis team all four years. A week after graduating, he married his wife, Elizabeth, and became a full-time instructor at MVP Crahen. Jacob loves the technical and strategic nature of pickleball, but also really enjoys the opportunity to form strong friendships with his clients.
Jacob has spent thousands of hours on the court with clients of all ages since he began coaching pickleball in 2021; but when he isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, working out, and being involved at Ada Bible Church.

Julia Mcentee
Restaurant Manager
After two decades in the hospitality and restaurant industry Julia joined the team at Dinks and Dingers.
You can find her leading the front of house team, designing the cocktails you sip on in the bar, and socializing with guests. In her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her cat Mona Lisa, working on her poetry and art, going to social events, and playing with her nephew, Meatball [Finian].
