"KENTWOOD, Mich. — Dozens of people turned out for the groundbreaking of a new pickleball facility in Kentwood last week.

Representatives from the City of Kentwood gathered at 5080 Broadmoor Avenue to break ground on Dinks and Dingers Pickleball Social Club and Restaurant.

Dinks and Dingers will feature indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, a regulation size Wiffle® Ball field, ping pong tables, shuffleboard, cornhole and a full-service restaurant and bar.

Owner Andy Anderson was joined by City of Kentwood Deputy City Administrator, Shay Gallagher, and City Planning Commissioners, Daniel Holtrop and Doug Vander Meer, at the groundbreaking.

“We’re pleased to welcome Dinks and Dingers to Kentwood,” said Gallagher. “Their state-of-the-art indoor/outdoor pickleball courts and play space is a great addition to our community, offering residents, visitors and businesses a great place to recreate, dine and host events.”

Anderson said that it was his dream to bring a facility like this to reality."
